ACCESSIBILITY
LAST UPDATED · 6 AUGUST 2026
We want everyone to be able to browse the work, hear the music and get in touch — regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Conformance target
This site aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We assess conformance through a mix of automated testing and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, a single main region and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Descriptive alternative text on artwork and photography; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Text and interface colours checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios on our dark theme.
- Accessible names on icon-only controls such as social links and the menu button.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected for animations and reveal effects.
- Responsive layouts that reflow to 320px and support 200% zoom without loss of content.
Known limitations
- Embedded Spotify players are third-party content. Their keyboard and screen-reader behaviour is controlled by Spotify. Every embed has a direct link to the release on Spotify as an alternative.
- Album artwork sourced from Spotify is described by artist and release title rather than a visual description of the cover art.
